Ahead of the Non-Farm Payrolls release, August 7 was filled with tension, but I managed to close out safely by sticking to disciplined, principle-based trading, pulling in about $2,500 in profit today. Similar to yesterday, is this around the maximum I can pull with just a single micro contract? Haha
Lately, keeping strict risk management as the top priority and focusing on entries with 1 micro contract means profits don’t pile up explosively, but my peace of mind is definitely there. Of course, it would be a lie to say I didn’t feel some regret watching certain setups slip away while hesitating on whether to enter. Still, I controlled my breathing calmly with the mindset that a defensive trade is a winning trade.
Above all, getting safely past the NFP releaseโa major turning pointโand wrapping up the week without any major incidents is a huge relief.
